I'd like to introduce you to Bill Leider and
share a view of why he has earned his Master Model Railroader
rating. He models in O Scale, and his layout represents
Pocatello, Idaho. He builds large brass Union Pacific
locomotives from
scratch so you know he is a man of significant skills.
Here
you see his recently-completed model of combine #2747,
a car that probably ran on the actual K&BH.
Complete with passengers inside, the details are simply
incredible.
How detailed is it? Take a look at the next
photo showing some of the underbody details — and
remember that everything is built from scratch! It is
a thrill to see this level of modeling in person and
I hope you will have the opportunity to see more of his
work in the future.
